I am about to pick up my new 255 FSH. My boat house will not fit a cradle due to water depth. I need to know how long my slings need to be as the manual does not have that dimension. Also, can spreader bars be used to keep tension off of the gunnels?

Are you sure you can't use a cradle? My cradle only takes a couple of inches.

It’s not the inches at the center of the boat it’s the 2.5 feet at at the ends.

What are the length of your beams?
