Noticed in the news that many auto insurers are returning some premium. It made me think about my boat insurance, so I reached out to my insurer. While I do not think there is going to be any across the board type rebate, I did find my carrier to be very willing to discuss it, and did find me some discounts.

One question I suggest you ask, depending on what part of the country you are in, and how your boat is stored; are you paying an additional fee for freeze damage ?

Best to all, hope you and your are families are healthy.

I do not, just the agreed value insurance. Mine actually went down by $70 this year over last, which was a nice surprise. I store mine in a warehouse during the offseason, so no freeze worries here.

I'm probably using my boat more now than I would be otherwise... so an insurance rebate wouldn't make sense.
