This happened a few months ago at my local marina. Thankfully it happened the day after I was on the water there and my boat hasn’t been wet slipped there for years.
Long story short, jet skier got boaters wet, Chase ensured, boat ran over jet skier, damaged several boats, was abandoned 30 miles away. Perpetrators caught a few days later, charged with multiple crimes including possibly kidnapping. He wouldn’t let his guests off the boat after the incident and before he abandoned his boat. Made bail the next day, they own a smog shop which is now being boycotted by the locals.
