Hi all,
New member here. I occasionally see used Yamaha boats for sale with a Shorlandr trailer - but I thought all Yamaha jet boats came with a trailer. Is it possible to buy these boats without a trailer? Or does Shorlandr make the trailers for Yamaha?

My understanding is that Yamaha contracts with Shorelandr to make the trailers for Yamaha boats.

@captras is correct. All Yamaha's come with a trailer when new & very few used Yamaha's are sold without a trailer. MFI was the trailer supplier for Yamaha for years but more recently Shorelander is. There is a market for trailers if you buy a boat with trailer and have no need for the trailer.

Captras, Gym,
Thanks much for the fast replies. I do want a trailer so that's great news. I was just suspicious when I saw ads listing a Shorlandr brand trailer with the boat because I thought that people were upgrading trailers For some reason. Now I know that the Shorlandr came with the boat when new. I'm sure I'll have many additional questions as I search. I'll be sure to post back.

Thanks!

If u can buy a better trailer... u replaced my galvanized mfi with a new aluminum I beam trailer this spring. the way that boat pulls bow us amazing... night and day... but the trailer I bought came with some nice upgrades... torsion axels.. radial tires.. led lights . .. 4x4 main bunks . .. when I compare the new trailer to my old mfi... my new one is so much more robust... made my old mfi look flemsy.

Thats good to know bronze_10, thanks.

Where did you get your trailer from? I have a 2022 AR210 so I’m needing a 24 ft. Trailer with tandem wheels. Could use your advice. Thanks!

All models come with a trailers except the 27's, right? I think those are sold separately (like the batteries in every toy in the 1980's).
