Update. Actually, what I thought was Erie was actually Progressive. My broker writes all my MD stuff and all of it is Erie. However, the boat policy is through Progressive, not Erie. It is the same coverage similar to what I had with the Gecko at less than half the price at $324. Which is 25k agreed value for my 2008 SX230, appropriate other limits, and on water towing so I can now unload my Boat US towing policy which I have always had and was thankful for that when I needed it once. It pays to pay attention when those bills come in, glad I wasn't sleeping on this one. Amazing how an outrageous renewal quote from a carrier will startle you awake.
