I've been running without the black bolts in the middle of the air box for a few hours... Any one else? Any reason I should put the bolts back on? I'm thinking of making some caps to cover the holes but I figured it best to ask here first.

I don’t think it will hurt if they are not in but if you have them then why not put them back in, it’s only four screws and how often do you really have to take the covers off.

I haven’t had bolts on my air boxes since I’ve owned it, bought it that way back end of 2020.

While I was diagnosing my fouling plugs issues two years ago I didn’t screw them in. Just letem’ bounce around in the cover due to having that cover off so often. Now that everything’s good I’ve tightened them down just cause they’re there. Don’t see why you can trim without them though.
