Has anyone tried using the box anchor without the extension arm and attaching the anchor rope directly to the anchor? I love the box anchor but hate the arm when storing it.

Bet you could use chain instead.

I see you use an anchor buddie bungie instead of a standard line. I use the exact same set up and it works great for shallow inland lakes/rivers. Literally throw and go. Super easy.
