Boat leaving scratch from sliding across bunk. Checked bunks and some parts look worn already?

Kind of a confusing post.
Is the boat getting scratched from the bunks?
How many times have you launched and retrieved?
Does it look like the boat is sitting like it should on the bunks?

New boat? 2012?

Either way, dunking the whole trailer and then pulling it up to the depth you need to load solves two issues. 1. it gets the bunks wet so that the boat slides easier. 2. it rinses any sand that may have ended up on the carpeted bunks from using power to offload, or from sand blowing in a parking lot. The sand in the carpet will wear gelcote as much or more than any exposed wood.

Good luck

Sweet, congrats on the new boat. What color is the hull that touches the bunks? If it's the '22 that is black, it's going to show everything for sure.
