Bruce or Volffas ever get those Raymarine chart plotters installed?

It's been a little over six months since we purchased them and I'm finally getting around to trying to get this thing mounted. I would love to hear from you two and see how you guys mounted them and also if you used the chirp 110 transducer that came with it. Appreciate any details or suggestions @Bruce and @Volffas offer.

My a78 went on before Bimini 2018. Love the touch screen. The only thing I do not like is the long boot up time.

I mounted it with the same b sized ram mount that I used with the Dragonfly. I may upgrade that ram mount one size for 2019.

I used the transponder that came with the a78. I thought I would be able to plug the a78 into the Dragonfly transducer but found the connectors were different despite the transducer being the same.

Thanks for replying @Bruce. Maybe when you have time you could post a pic of where you mounted it. I thought about mounting it on top of the helm, but think visibility might come into play.

Mine is mounted above the dash. That location allows me to flip it horizontal and view it through the windshield while standing.
