I've ran a version of quickbooks for 24 years. I currently using QB 2008 Pro

We are a small, service business with no inventory and QB has done every thing we needed.

I just acquired a new business ( from my mother ), it is a small distribution business that carries a small inventory, they are currently running SAGE with no payroll program

I thought this may be the time to upgrade but the selection is overwhelming, QB has now become subscription only and I was quite prepared to pay $500-700 for the software I wasn't prepared to pay $1,500. a year in subscription fees

Just wondering if we have any accountants or business owners who might share there ideas,

you can start a conversation if you'd like to keep it private,

Thanks,
Scott
