Hey Guys,

Just wanted to give some positive feedback here. Purchased these last fall and have used them a handful of times, over the weekend half of the lights went out on one of the LED tops. Bass Pro (where I bought them) told me it was past their warranty period of 90 days so I'd have to call the manufacturer.

Gave them a call this morning, told them what happened. The gentleman that answered asked a couple trouble shooting questions to make sure it wasn't an install issue and then apologized and let me know that he would be mailing a replacement today. Didn't ask for a receipt, order number from bass pro, etc.

Not to many times that we receive great customer service, so I thought I would pass it on for anyone that is in the market :)

These posts have worked perfectly for me since I put them on and make it a WAY easier to load the boat!!!!

check out their stuff!!! http://cesmith.com/

glad it worked out for you, thanks for sharing your experience

@woodard1983 , I agree with your assessment 100%! The CE Smith folks are easy to deal with and support their products without fail. I have about 3 years on my first set of guide posts with the LED lighted tops. The amber clearance lights forward and the red tail lights to the back make for good visibility for followers, and make dealing with a big boat on a trailer MUCH easier! I have to back my boat down the drive almost 200', winding through a downhill path to the barn...AT NIGHT! Those lights are priceless! My wife would tell you the same when it comes to backing the trailer in the water for retrieving the boat at night too. But lining up in the dark, on a dark ramp, and loading...again...PRICELESS! So you are right on the money here and thanks for posting it! BTW, I purchased my second set of C.E. Smith guideposts a few weeks ago for the new SX 240. I got the 60" posts this time. Last time, it was the 45" posts and I replaced the posts and upgraded to 60" after a year. I love these posts and lights.

I am also glad I put those lights on. Not only does it look cool on the trailer but as others have mentioned really easy to see at night to aid in backing up, and driving on the interstate.

I love my lights too. Great value for the price and function. Mine are on top of the VeVe's though

just an update, I received the lights yesterday. not only did they send one to replace the one I had issues with, but they sent me the full package that you would get if you bought them at a store, so now I have an extra as well :)

@woodard1983 Well that fits perfectly in this group! You can't have too many spares!

hahaha, I feel the same way!!!

btw, with that in mind. If anyone ever has a problem w/one and finds this thread, PM me. I'll get my extra light to you if someone else hasn't already spoken for it
