Anyone frequent Caesar Creek Lake in Ohio? My daughter lives about 15 miles from the lake - in Kettering - and my wife and I would like to visit her either the 2nd or 3rd weekend in September. We want to take the boat but it's a 7 hour drive so I want to make sure it's worth it. What's the lake like that time of the year, I heard it gets really busy but is it still bad after Labor Day? I also believe there's a marina on the lake, do you know if they rent slips overnight so I wouldn't have to find a place to park the truck and boat at night (she lives in an apartment complex)? She misses out on a lot of our boat outings since she lives so far away so I wanted to make a trip just for her - and any friends she wants to invite. If Caesar isn't a good option, is there another lake nearby that would be good? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there! Caesar’s Creek is the sister lake of my home lake. I have never visited but i bet it’s nice. They have a marina and rent slips.

I think you’ll have no issues with crowds after Labor Day.

I live probably 30 minutes from Caesar Creek. It probably won’t be too bad that late in September. Was just there Sunday and it was extremely choppy and busy, but enough people seem to put the boats up around the end of September early October here in southern Ohio. They do have a large no wake area by the dam where you can get away from the main area of you want to swim. Also there is Buck Creek Reservoir in Springfield. Haven’t been to Buck Creek in a long time so not sure how it is now.
