My mom just bought a sea ray sea raider and I opened the back hatch and turned it over and gas is leaking heavily out of the carbs, what’s the problem?

could be several things; too much fuel pressure, float suck open in the carb or just leaking gaskets around the bowl. If you haven't rebuilt a carb, now is the time to learn how to do it or take it to a shop. Fuel leaking in a boat is no bueno...

My SWAG - stuck float bowl valve. Tap it with a screw driver to see if it fixes itself. Regardless, you should buy the rebuild kit and refresh the carb. Plenty of youtube videos if needed.
