We have a 2019 242x and started hearing about possible issues with the carlisle tires. We checked our tires and found they were made in 04/18. We have noticed some vibration when traveling short distances to our local lake. Took the tires to the tire shop today and when they were placed on the balancing machine there was a lot of bouncing at 5mph. These tires had already been balanced but they were so bad the tire shop couldnt balance them. He said they were junk and we SHOULD NOT travel on them. They also found 3 bent rims. We replaced all 5 tires with radials. Will be contacting carlisle to discuss the tire issue and still trying to figure out who to contact about the bent rims.

When i replaced my tires with the radial replacements, i mounted and balanced them myself. All four of the wheels that were on the trailer were pretty straight. But when i mounted and balanced the spare i saw that it was bent to hell and that wheel has never seen the road. Called Carlisle and they sent me a new in the box rim. It as well was pretty bent. These are cheap wheels and are easily bent.
If you want straight wheels, buy aluminum replacements.

Make sure you are not overly tongue heavy. If it is, it will put added stress on the front 2 tires, and could cause more vibration on the trailer. Shorelandr suggests 5 to 7% . The closer to 7% the better
