AR240 2010.......Can I run a power inverter and charger to charge my batteries while running the boat. Looking into adding 3 AGM batteries for stereo only. Stereo is killing batteries too fast. 4 Tower speakers 4 amps 1 sub....anyone else having problems killing batteries?

That doesn't make sense. Just charge with the engines stator. Run a solenoid or isolator.

What you really need is a reeeeal long extension cord.

There are electrical losses anytime you convert, invert or transform power. In other words you would be using more power than the engine charging system alone. With all those amps it sounds like you're running a floating disco. Only thing I can think of would be a small Honda generator but do you really want to?
