I've hooked up BUDS and it shows no faults. When you start the boat it flashes CHECK ENGINE across the screen and the CEL illuminates and stays on but there is no fault codes menu option on the boat screen to let me see what code is causing the issue. I've seen nothing in BUDS, like I said, either.

Odd. Never heard of that. Did you reset the fault codes anyways? See if it makes it go away.

To reset the fault codes do I do that on the boat screen or in BUDS? I am seeing no past or present faults in BUDS.

Buds (or Candoo pro for those that have that software)
This is what I'm seeing in the FAULTS screen. That store message when hovering over ECM. Is the ECM supposed to show a green connection instead of red? Sorry for the grainy pic, it's sunny out even w the top over me. Popup when hovering over ECM is "module is in bootload mode and application is not valid".

Sorry, I've never used BUDS. It didn't exist when I bought Candoo. But somewhere in there there should be a way to reset fault codes.
