Purchased a 2016 242 last week that came with the mooring cover. Overall the cover is in good shape, however, does have some spots I’d like to clean. The cover also stinks, not like mold, just stinks! I was planning on using dawn soap and scrubbing it, then letting the sun dry it. Is there a better way or better product to use. Thanks everyone.

@Patman941 Dawn soap is a good gentle cleaner that will not rot or discolor your fabric. Johnson's "no more tears" baby soap is also gentle on canvas and fabric. If there is some mildew (not mold) there are a number of mildew mitigation products that work well. I avoid ones that appear too harsh, chemically speaking, and never use bleach products because they rot fabric. Cheers MT
