Hey Guys

I am sure this has been asked a lot on this forum, but I am not able to find any definitive answers unfortunately.

I would like to find out what the best way is to clean these off real good. I know I don't want to use anything abrasive, but vinegar and some elbow grease seems to be the way forward here?

Thanks in advance guys!

This is what I have so far.
Spray vinegar, open a beer. Drink it. Spray again and then scrub. And then a celebratory beer after.

Yup vinegar is a great cleaner without being too abrasive, and cheap to buy. We use it mixed 1 to 4 in a spray bottle to clean off water spots all over the boat as our lake and river water is toward the hard side around the Great Lakes. Looks like it did a good job on your pump?

Yeah, didn’t dilute it. Used a spray bottle and applied liberally. Then applied some elbow grease.

upon reinstallation I stripped the top bolt holding the nozzle deflector to the nozzle. So tapped bigger, but thinking a helicoil would be a better long term solution. My OCD is off the charts knowing there are different bolts on either side.

Yup that would bother me too...helicoil would be my choice as well. Looks nicer too!
