A little ingenuity gets the job done.

Jeff, I like what I saw and read but I didn't see a price and I'd rather buy a pair (I need two for my 06 fx waverunmers) than make them at this point. Please let me know if you sell them and if so what they cost. I am sure my wife and I could use them, especially on long cruises (I.e., 20 miles or more one way).

I really don't sell those I just make things for myself to solve problems and shared it so other people could use the idea . Go to the hardware store and buy a flat rubber bungee , cut the ends off like in the picture attach a wrist coil with a cable tie, slip the wrist coil over the handlebar by the throttle and you are done, you can get wrist coils where they sell keys in the hardware store I would imagine. I use them on my ezlocks so naturally I borrowed a couple . I would imagine you can make 2 for probably 2 or 3 dollars , one bungee has 2 ends so you only need one of those.
Actually both of my skies have cruise control from the factory but you have to hold the throttles to keep it on so I use this to hold the throttles especially when towing water skiers or tubes , the advantage is I can drive with no hands while pulling a skier and I can bump the speed up or down as needed simply by using the cruise buttons. So I use these all the time with and without the cruise being activated.
Oh and it also works great to free up your hands if you have your girlfriend riding behind you and you want to give her the don't stop ride, however the details of that are classified.
