2017 yamaha 212 Ltd factory depth finder not working. Reads 0 most of the time. Then reads random sometimes. Port hole seems to be clear and clean. Not sure what else I could check. Any help is appreciated. I do not want to have to replace it.

There has been numerous issues documented here about the transducer failing. They are on a long backorder currently but some here have found airmar or garmin replacements that need a different connector wired in. Mine still works but i have a replacement Garmin setup ready to go if it fails
