Someone backed empty trailer under my boat in parking lot. Got lucky it wasn't worse, but V hull mid bottom point now has a dime size ding/gouge in black gel coat. Fibers showing, but luckily no hole or structural , just the gel ripped off.

Anyone have a good recommended black gel coat repair for the bottom to fix this? Most kits have low star ratings, so hoping someone has a good personal recommendation.

Thanks in advance!

Not a problem, that is what Yamaha uses on our boats.

Man, that sucks! As @HangOutdoors linked to, those kits are real easy to work with, but claim to only have a ~6 month shelf life. Don’t forget your sanding block, assortment of wet sandpaper, and polish to finish it up.
