I have a 242 Limited S that I had to purshase a new trailer for. The new trailer is appros 4' longer then the one that came with the boat. I use to take the boat to the car wash at 41 and corkscrew as they have 2 stations that are high enough to fit the ski tower. However once you get the boat in there because of the trailer length you cant get it out without hitting the sides. Does anyone know of a place that has a DIY that will fit a large and high boat? I even checked with a few truck stops and they said the closest one in near Miami that has a truck was station.

Just curious the trailer is 4 feet longer or the boat sits 4 feet further back? is it possible to adjust the trailer winch tower to move forward enough to reposition the boat and let you turn out of the stall without hitting the walls when you turn? Or is it something else.

The front of the trailer is about 4 feet longer.

Boy that is a big difference. So the axel is also further back than the previous trailer. I bet that makes all turns a bit more difficult

I don't understand, if you can get your boat into the car wash station shouldnt you be able to,get it out the same way? I put a front hitch on my tow vehicles a few years ago and they really help me position my boat and trailer much better thean the traditional way of constantly looking over my shoulder or in my rear view mirrors.
