@DJMattyT - You'll notice that you're getting a lot of "no free advertising" responses. While some may think that's a bit "stiff," consider this: Businesses pay a lot of money for advertising space. This tells us that advertising space has value. The space on the side of a boat that pulls up to the pier with a killer sound system pumping has a lot of value to the maker of that sound system.

At the end of the day it is, of course, your boat. These are simply the opinions of folks who have been around the block a few times and understand how hard we have to work for things of value and that we should always be aware of what we are giving away.

IMO if you like the the company, components, customer service, etc., nothing wrong with advertising or supporting them. I think the decal looks good. Seems to be less and less businesses these days taking pride in there service or product. I try my best to support the few that still do. Like JetBoatPilot

The boat looks great without it! I almost think the JL decal takes away from it. Unless they paid me (a lot) to slap that on the side of my boat, I'd pass. My 2 cents.

Do what makes you happy!
If you put a killer stereo in it and it is all JL than hey do whatever u want. Nothing a hair dryer and 10 minutes can’t undo.
I would send them a video and ask for a discount on new stuff as it comes out. And ask to do promotions for there marine stuff.
If you do what you enjoy for a living you never have to work a day in your life.
People have fallen into better jobs than that.
AKA Guinness tasters. They also get a driver.
