Hi all. I have a 2022 255 FSH Sport E. I am going on vacation for a week and will be docking at a marina without a way to lift or dry dock the boat. Will it be a problem leaving it in brackish water for this long? Is there anything I can do to prevent issues?

Thanks,
Scott

I’ve wet slipped in full salt water for a week at a time with no problems so you’ll be fine. Flush the engines and rinse everything off well with salt away or similar product after you pull the boat out and you’ll be good. Also, make sure the bilge pump works and is on while it’s in the water.

A week is totally fine, as Babin said, just flush it well when you're done with a salt removal product.

Third this advice. I dunk mine in salt water a few times a year. I also tend to leave it on the water overnight a few times a year. It's fine. Just flush/rinse it when you're done to clean it back up and you'll see no long lasting effects.

Brackish? Yeah go enjoy your trip and do t think twice about it.

Thank you everyone for the feedback!
