Looking behind the console I noticed that one of the steering cables has a part number SBT 27-345DR 12 12 stamped on it. Additionally the crimps on the cables do not match so I am guessing that someone replaced a single cable before my ownership. I am not sure which cable is broken. I plan to figure that out when I replace both.

They do sell them.

The SBT cables appear to be more expensive than OEM parts from Yamaha Sports Plaza, at least for my boat!

Not only do I have a SBT steering cable but it is the wrong model and is intended for a LS2000/LX210.

For my boat SBT is a few dollars more than the Yamaha part and $20 more per cable than the OEM.

What's the cost for the Teleflex? Isn't it like $30 per cable?

The SeaStar was Teleflex reverse bucket cables are around $42 each now. I have a couple of those ordered.

The best price I have found on the SeaStar steering cables is around $115 each.
