Hello Folks-
Just an FYI re: an experience I've had with my 2023 Yamaha AR195.
When flushing after use, I suggest first using a 3/4" hose, also make sure you have plenty of water pressure, and......purchase a Yamaha hose extender available in red or blue, not the cheaper ones that are made of thinner rubber. I purchased a cheaper version and it kinked and set off the overheat alarm. This happened to me twice.
Since you need this extender to reach the flush port under the swim platform, you obviously want a hose that will not kink and reduce water to your engine. Once you close the deck to flush, you can't see if this hose kinks.
A little more $$$ for a Yamaha hose may save you big bucks on an engine repair.
Good Day!
