I have read about boats not running well at higher elevation and have experienced it with my chain saw between my residence in Ct. and my camp in upstate NY. Tonight I checked the elevations and found that in Ct. the elevation is around 160' and the elevation in NY. is almost 1800'. Should I be concerned about my boat running to lean in NY. if I set the fuel mixtures in Ct.?

You are correct I am thinking backwards. Higher elevation = less air and richer mixture.
