So I was in winterization mode yesterday, and took out the plugs on my engines and sprayed some yamaha fogging oil into each cylinder. Afterwards I pulled the lanyard and went to crank each engine for a second or two. Both engines fired up for like a second and died as I did this.

The engines shouldn't be getting spark so were they igniting the oil by compression? Is that bad for anything in the motor?

Thanks.

I wouldn't be concerned at all
