I could not find the weight of an MR-1 engine in the forums. Is that info available?

I wouldn't think the weight of our boat components such as engines ,jet drives or chairs are readily available. What are you trying to do? If you're trying to pull an engine there are plenty on this forum that have done so and probably can give you an educated guess.

Thanks Gym. I thought that the engine weighs 350 lbs. A recent post seemed to indicate 200 lbs. I have fabricated a gantry crane for pulling and reinstalling them without ever knowing what they actually weigh.

Short block weight is right around 140 pounds. Add accessories such as exhaust manifold, air box etc, just south of 200 pounds.

Thank you, Jon.
