I knew I would face this issue when I bought this boat, but this is ridiculous.. none of the drains on this boat are sealed at all, not only are they not sealed inside the boat, leaking water into the hull, but the thru-hull drains are not sealed either, allowing water into the hull from outside the boat in rough water...

I guess next weekend I will have to take everything apart and seal everything with Silicon..

Yamaha are you listening?

what a disappointment,

Mother Yamaha needs to get some executives from overseas to come take a look at how things are being built here in the US. The quality seems to have taken a dive in the build process.

@kthrash and water in the boat? His boat is always dry...............

Sorry, I had to.

Seriously #Yamaha if you are going to burden someone with a leaky boat Keith has already had too many water in the boat problems.

No Chit! I'll get it sealed up, easier for me to do it than leave it at the dealership..

It pains me to see all these "wet" Yamahas with leakage issues all over the place. I feel like one of the lucky ones considering I wet slip in freshwater for the entire summer without issue. Only time I have water infiltration is when I have 2000+ lbs of ballast aboard.

Has anyone tried installing rubber gaskets between the drain hole and the tightening nut??
