The expansion tank must have came loose from the exhaust hose. Has this happened to you and know why this might have happened. Is there a better solution other than having all the weight hang from the hose. Also does anyone know where I can find this hose to replace it. 1st photo is the right engine where the tank fell. The Second hose is just for reference of what your looking for down there. Haven't heard of anyone having this issue. Doesn't mean nobody has of course. Here's the parts diagram I believe involves the parts you're speaking of?

Yes! I had that same exact piece piece split. I thought that sh!t only happened to me. I ended up going to a boat salvage yard and hunted for the correct size diameter and cut off what I needed. Think it was around 4" long or so. Guy hardly charged anything for it. Was a PIA to put on. I tied a rope around the muffler to help keep in place. Not easy but eventually got it.

It's good to check these hose clamps as they become loose over time. Ask me how I know...

I'll add, although it's good to check them, DON'T over tighten them either. lol Ask me how I know...
