Hey everyone,

Picked up a 2010 242 limited S a couple weeks ago. Boat is in great shape but the factory decals that run along the side are coming off. See the attached pictures of that graphic. Called Yamaha and they only stock the aft portion of that decal. Curious if anyone has had any made or knows of any place who already has that graphic ready to go?

Thanks

The graphic doesn't appear to be available on that site either. I may drag it to a local shop Monday and see if they can reproduce it, if not it's time to start stripping!

I have the same boat and my graphics are falling off also. I'm planning to replace with something different this spring. Stay tuned...

I took it to a local graphics shop and they are going to make a copy of those decals for me. $280 for both sides. Didn't seem too bad considering the factory graphics prices I have found listed, but unavailable.

That actually sounds like a great price!

thought about adding graphics but the naked look is growing on me

2010 AR240 with the naked look. I love it. Very clean and classy.

I got my boat with 7 hours on it so I've not had it since new but can tell you that vinyl stripes and boat bumpers & such are not friends. Vinyl stripes are meant for cars and motorhomes, not docks and bumpers. That said, I took mine off the first time I washed it.

If it is cold where you are, you can use a hair dryer to help soften them but they should pull off in pretty close to one piece if you do it right. Remove any residue with an enamel like WD-40 or mineral spirits and then wax it.

There is a reason that the high end boats put their colors into the gel coat.
