Slowly turning into fall so how about a place to keep track of some of our last trips out.

Got on the water this morning and it was a whopping 56 bit man it was worth it. No wind and no other boats equaled NO CHOP for a change.

Man I chickened out this morning and Tara and I have had extreme remorse today.... At least the browns won

Me and the wife were talking today that it's time to start taking fall cruises. We usually run down the lake a few miles to a couple different marinas that have restaurants, eat, and then cruise back looking at the fall foliage. Lol, we agreed that we're going next weekend come hell or high water! Rainy and cool here lately..

@Craig thats exactly what we did today. Went straight to Cranberries for lunch and then did some slow channel cruising the rest of the day. Next Saturday its supposed to be all sun and 75 up here. Unfortunately my wife made plans for us prior to checking the forecast!

We like boating down here and looking at Christmas lights.

Not cool man...lol. I'd have icicles in my mustache if we went looking for Christmas lights on the lake. In all seriousness, when striper fishing here in dec/jan/Feb..we used to wear full faced motorcycle helmets when running the lake and dunk our rods in the lake to melt the ice out of the eyes of the rod. Glad someone gets to enjoy the water during the winter!:)

The latest that we've been boating is late October. My work is really in the way by then and the days have really gotten short. If we do end up with a free weekend during the fall we usually go camping.

@GiddYupJoe was going to head out yesterday but decided to watch the Browns...glad I did as winning is rare for them!

Going out next Saturday as the weather looks really nice!

When are you thinking of winterizing? We stayed out last year thru mid October and since we are at the campground, might keep it in till the end of Oct.

Let me know next time your going to be at the lake. Think we might be there for the OSU vs Cincy game. Neighbors are having a party and then we will boat later if weather permits.
