You probably mean P2097?
P2097 : Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Rich
P1136 : Lambda Sensor fault downstream of catalyst - open line
Looks like you have a defective Post Cat oxygen sensor, nothing that would impede the performance of your boat, just annoying to see the check engine light on.
I've had a few of those Lambda sensor faults. I've just cleared them with my CanDoo. The check engine light would stay off for about an hour and then come back on. That happened a couple of times. Since the last time I cleared the codes, the check engine light has stayed off. That was a couple of tanks of a gas ago. Maybe I beat it into submission. That might not be the right answer, but I'm not too worried about the post cat sensor. No performance issues. Not interested in taking it to the dealer when they say "call us back at the end of the summer and we'll start to talk about scheduling an appointment."
I don't know if I ever found a complete list of codes for the Scarab that was 100% accurate. I just googled around and found what I needed. Now that I have the Candoo it tells me what the code is for - at least for the few codes I've had. It would be good to have complete list though.
Depending of the gauge (standard BRP or ViperII). If you have a Standard BRP, just scroll to the menu & if a fault is "active" then a Faul Menu should be display.
Select that menu & use use the up/down to go theough the differetn faults being active.
With ViperII go in Settings page & look for a Engine Faults sub-menu.
Oh, I see what you mean. How do you read them? I think when you first turn the ignition on it will scroll across your instrument cluster. Be patient and it will display after it tells you which side (L/R). Someone else could chime in to be more specific because I can't exactly remember when it will scroll across, but it does.
