Fender location and attaching

I always ran into issues getting my fenders set up for docking. The factory cleats are just not in the right spot for attatching fenders. It cost me a couple of scratches.

So I did this little mod w quick release attachments. It makes docking quick and easy now for the admiral. No fumbling... She is happy

I found the Seachoice brand to have the best value.

.......Permanently attached to bumper for easy installation for kids,
......sits just far enough towards the rear to be useful and in expensive,
......no holes need to be drilled.

All good ideas. The stock cleat locations are definitely not in a good spot to hang fenders from.


I want to install a "mid-cleat" eventually. That way I could tie off with just 1 bungee dock tie.

No need to go crazy tying off to a dock while parking retrieving a tow vehicle.... it's only minutes... one mid-tie is all that's needed
