Where is everyone mounting there fire extinguisher in your 195S? Can you mount horizontally?

Dealer mounted mine horizontally in bow end of compartment battery is in.

I was eyeing that location up this afternoon. Did they mount it on the angled area of the fiberglass?

No, it is on the floor all the way to the right (toward bow). Probably not where I would put it. I'd take a picture but boat is covered. I may eventually move it to the helm compartment.

I was looking at the same area but wasn't sure what type and size of screw to use. Is it pure fiberglass I'd be screwing into? How thick is it, isn't the fuel tank just below it?

Right against the right wall of that compartment there is a wedge shape in the floor which is presumably all fiberglass. I had no problem putting screws in there. Probably used about 3/4 inch screw if I recall.
