Hi guys,
Just bought my first bought on Friday. I've been looking for quite a while and finally found the right boat. I knew I wanted a older (70's) jet boat and it had to have a big block olds motor. This all stems back to my earliest memory of fishing with my late father at the river. There was a 70s jet boat with a blown big block, over transom headers, crazy bright paintjob and I said to myself, I'll have one of those some day. The olds motor was needed because my father was a Oldsmobile guru and taught me all kinds of stuff about them. Never in boats. He was a muscle car guy and so am I. I have lots of "go fast" parts for the 455 in my garage. Anyway, I drove 3 hours to get this 1973 Schuster Tahiti Torino. The trailer is also a 1973 Rocket. Both with clean titles. Picked her up for $750!! She aint much to look at now and the only thing I've done is back it into the water to make sure she'd float. This should make for a nice winter project.
