Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
I bought these a few years ago (never used them); they were the wrong ones for my boat. If anyone could use them send me an email, and I'll mail them to you. jgleddy@yahoo.com
You wouldn't have any idea if these would fit a 2004 SX230 would you? I'm trying to look them up now to see if there a match. I plan on replacing mine after this season or if my arms give out trying to turn right. whichever happens first.
Sorry Geno, I tried looking up where I got my new ones from, but I didn't have any luck. I did change them out using the guidance on this forum and it really wasn't a difficult job at all and made a big improvement in the boat's handling--good luck with yours.
Hello again Geno, I did a little more digging and found this paper with the cables I got for my boat. They are two different lengths and went in pretty uneventfully--just take your time and follow the guidance on this forum.
