Has anyone had problems with the paddle wheel speed sensor / speedometer not working? And does anyone have a picture of what theirs looks like on the boat? I’m trying to figure out if the 2 fins on either side of the wheel are supposed to be bent or if mine is damaged. Right now I get a 0 reading on both the needle and the digital display panel. Thanks!

Mine were bent in making contact with the wheel. I just bent them back out and evening went back to work correctly. Think they contact with the trailer bunk.

Fins are straight down

@Blindduck @dlkhmk Thanks a ton guys! I just straightened mine out we’ll see how it goes next trip out. The one fin was completely smashed against the wheel, I could spin easily with my hand but I imagine the water wasn’t getting in there to spin it.

I'm a few years late to this thread but this just happened to mine. Must've rubbed the lift rail in my slip, man what a terrible design. Luckily it can be bent back into shape.

I've actually done the same think on the trailer bunk, also had a reed stuck in between the wheel and side wall too. Just bend it back, clear it out and make sure it spins freely. Should work again.
