Need to replace the Fuel Gauge in my LX210, got a Faria gauge that matches the stock closely, it was only one I could find with a brushed silver grey bezel. The problem in wiring this new gauge is the stock 3 pin pigtail is too small to mount, the male prongs are bigger than on the stock gauge, is the solution to remove the pigtail and hardwire them directly to the prongs? Can't find any other gas gauges that list different size plug/posts, so it seems the only route?
