Fulton F2 Jack Service Bulletin

I have been speaking with Fulton about my failing F2 Jack. I know @Ronnie has had issues with them as well.

My issue is not yet resolved but they have sent this service bulletin describing the need for a ventilation port which doubles as a method of greasing the jack.

They suggest drilling the vent port if it does not exist. I do not have an explanation of how to deal with the metal shavings that will get inside of the jack yet.

If you dip the drill bit into some thick grease, it will capture the metal shavings in the grease on the bit and stop them from falling inside the jack.

I just purchased the Fulton XLT, it was one of the few that fit my 5 x 3 frame. Most tongue jacks are looking for a 4 x 2 frame.

Great news! I installed this winter new gears and new bearings inside F2. For adding vent port I will once more disassembly my jack. It's not complicated.

Mine jack was getting tight on my utility trailer, took it apart and greased it. Thanks for the bulletin, now to drill a hole.
