Finishing off my 546s install and a question occurred to me. I snagged a G2 Vision card to go with it and am curious on how to handle saving my tracks. Usually tracks get written to the card, but I'm not sure how that works on a Vision card. Am i supposed to be writing to that card? I want to lock it in read-only so there is no chance of it getting corrupted, but i also want my tracks so i can save them to the computer after exploring. How's everyone else handling this?

I do not have any experience with Garmin plotters or the Vision card.

But the plotters I have used have had the maps stored on part of the card and data you save goes to another part of the card. So I suspect that you would be fine simply inserting and using the card.
