I live in FL and the ramps here are typically shallow which makes it difficult to launch and sometimes recover unless you have half your vehicle in the water as well. Should I modify the trailer boards or soap them up or what?

Thanks ahead of time

Matt

Before I retrieve I brush my bunks with a stiff shop brush. Then I hit the bunks with silicone spray.

Launching, I have the mrs brake check me off if necessary.

Curious what the point of the shop brush is? Is it to clean or lift the nap of bunk carpet?

To keep silt, sand, etc out of the bunks so I don’t scratch the hull bottom.

My bunks have plastic (or vinyl) slides on them. They were on is when I got them and they work really well, especially if I spray a little silicone on them. I looked on Amazon and there are lots of products out there.
