GLS 195 service engine light

My check engine light has come on and won’t turn off, I have replaced the battery did a complete fluid change and still no luck, looking for advise on what to check next, GLS 195 4.3 mercury 2012

Yakes!!!! that engine package will need to have a code reader, I have found a few who have read the merc computer through the service port and counted the beeps to get what code it throwing. Hopefully Merc has published there codes somewhere.

I have done this paper clip method on OBD1 systems before but never on Merc.
