Tape is all that is holding that on? I am looking that stuff up now!I mounted the totalscan transducer on the bottom of the ride plate for the port engine. It is attached to a 3/4in spacer I created from resin covered oak (instead of starboard). This allowed me to to secure it to the ride plate with 3M VHB tape so I didn't have to drill holes into the ride plate. No issues in saltwater so far.
I saw a EVO2 for the same price new it just came down to $1,299 but no transducer. "International Marine" I thought long and hard about it. I ordered the GO9 complete package with the Totalscan and the 4G radar. I figured later on I could get a EVO2 or 3 and use that for sonar and just use the go9 for chart plotting and radar, and i would have a backup. Has anyone put a hard box up in the T-Top?
