You're going to like that Go9. I can't imagine boating without one or a similar unit. And yeah, I considered the 12" for a couple seconds, then came to my senses and realized as amazing as they are, that's a cr@pload of money for a few more inches!
Yeah, it sure is. I have the transducer bolted to the spacer with 3M 4000 around the bolts and the spacer taped to the ride plate. This is what I used https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HLY8X5M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, however check the different sizes because that is WAY more than I paid. I still want to take it out a few more times before I am totally convinced but from my research, people use this stuff to fasten transducers to their aluminum boats, which our ride plates are aluminum so, in theory, it should work. Tomorrow, I can snap a photo of it.

I flush mounted a Lowrance HDS 9, moved the Clarion radio to the cubby to the right of the glove box and installed a Standard Horizon VHF in the Clarion hole.
The Standard Horizon is a bit taller than a standard VHF so was able to cover the 3" hole left by the Clarion.
I used a piece of the dash cutout from the Lowrance as a backer for the Clarion, as the cubby is thin plastic.
Haha, I'm assuming you mean 2 of the LSA's like the one I put in my Sky? It would probably rip the hull apart! I have considered putting two of the LNF's in it though. The engine in the beginning of my video that I pulled out to swap the V8 with would make an amazing boat engine. That engine was putting out well over 500 crank hp from a 2.0L 4 cylinder. A couple of those in one of these Yamaha's would be interesting. lol. I sold that engine to a race team, it went into a Pirelli World Challenge GTS car I later tuned. The pro driver testing it asked me to "soften the hit" because it was so freakin strong he was having a hard time controlling the car in corners!
You have to have a compass. My dad has not beat me in 30 years but he would sure as hell try if I did not have one on the boat. It I also bought a chart book of the area I go.
In Long Island Sound when they launch a Sub. out of New London CT. they scramble the GOS signal and it puts you off a few miles. Some A.H. with a keyboard can probably take down the whole system.
How are you planning on mounting the radar on top of the bimini? I have my eye on the same system but wasnt sure how i would mount the radar unit......
I installed Go7 on 2017 190 FSH Deluxe and had dealer service department install transducer on the engine intake grill. Love install and all works great. As for what size GPS will fit on the CC most GPS manufacturers make installation templates available for download on their website. They are usually co located with the manual pdf downloads. Print out template and see if it will fit.
