Wow!!

Maybe even a 6' diameter blaster ball too :D

Maybe that's why there doesn't appear to be a place anywhere on it to attach a rope.

It has an attachment point at the rear ladder handle but no high attachment on the tower itself.

Tubing in a 27' boat will consume 20 gallons per hour. It's not a wakesports boat.

We rode on that boat today. I'd hate to be on a tube behind that boat with less than 375 feet of line

Maybe they have more of an angle to the pumps to keep that nose up when on plane, that's why there is such a high and long spray

I took the screenshot from a Yamaha demo ride video as the boat was accelerating to get on plane. Once they reached a cruise the spray wasn’t as bad as the pic but still pretty bad. The boat also seemed to cavitate a good bit on the video when accelerating from idle so looks like L13 cones may be in order for any new owners.

That is surprising. With the SVHO come 160mm pumps which are not known to cavitate a lot, especially in twins. But the @ThatJeepGuy couldn't get the 275 to plane on one engine, so IDK...
The L13s would do wonders there.

I was a bit surprised as well. Listen close around the 7:06 mark in this video. Seems like a good 5 seconds or so worth of cavitation.

Another thing I noticed from this video was how the boat looks small in terms of freeboard and overall height (excluding the hard top). It does not look like a big boat, or what a 27' boat should look like sitting in the water. It reminds me of a stretched 19' Yamaha more than it does a larger version of a 24' Yamaha. It would be interesting to know if the freeboard of the 275 is actually LESS than that of the 240-series boats. It almost looks it to me which doesn't help with the proportions of the boat IMO. The front looks "bubbly" due to the raised anchor locker 'hood", it has the same lines as the AR190/192 bow, the sides look low and long but the height looks capped to a 19' boat, and the rear...ugh those wings can't be unseen. I will not mention the windshield because it's just a big no from me. I just can't warm up to the looks of this boat as much as I'd like to.

That’s exactly what @ThatJeepGirl said when we saw it

It looks so small and capsule-like in these screenshots! From the front angle the lines are all over the place from round and bulbous to sharp and angular and everything in between. Really "busy" looking from the front IMO. The sides and rear angles make it look like a low rider.

At the end of the day I’m just not impressed. The cost is crazy and the thing is hideous. At this price point the only chance they had was still making a watersports boat which clearly was not their intent. The paddles are cool but that is about as far as it goes.

Looks like some kind of passenger ferry with thw side window taller than front. That wii nwvwr grow on me and i hate it because i neet to go to a 17 or 28 next year but it wont be another yamaha i dont thing

Seems most of the extra length is used up by the hideous rear lounges (and galley which is basically a storage compartment for a cooler lol). They really remind me of a pontoon. If they had stuck with the design of the 24" boats and simply stretched it amidships, they could have kept the stern that we all love and increased usable passenger area space. Could have increased the beam slightly to keep it trailer-able. The head compartment is nice and makes sense for a boat this size. All the gimmicky stuff like the swim-up seats and the trays over the engine compartments really doesn't impress me.
