good video editing software?

Hey guys, just curious if anyone has a recommendation for a program I can download to do basic editing for go pro videos and photos. Don't have windows movie maker, and don't really want to buy a program as I don't need anything fancy. Thanks!

The GoPro software is good but a little basic. If you want something a little more professional you can get Adobe Premiere.

Mac vs Windows, you have options. Premier is one, which is kind of heavy for basic stuff. Windows Movie Maker is the best for that on winblows, it's a free download, but you say you don't have it... is there a reason you're not using movie maker?

Otherwise mac, iMovie is simple otherwise FCP is the next thing. I'm probably going to buy FCP X, might get an FCP7 license and then upgrade it to save some $, but we'll see .
