SWAG GPS Antenna Cover Replacement - Red JetBoaters.net Logo

This is a replacement cover for Yamaha part number F2D-U8K1L-00-00 also known as SANAV part number GM-88U.

It is a new design that includes an optional external seal. If you do not wish to use the external seal it is recommended to use silicone caulk to seal between the plastic case sections and around the heads of the screws. It is printed from PETG plastic which should hold up well to sun exposure and resist impact.

@Bruce , Love the idea and design ! Is it going to be available in any colors other than red ? Maybe the same blue that you used for the steering bushings ?

I will get it in the mail tomorrow morning but rather than wrapping the damaged unit I would remove the electronics until you are ready to install the new cover. There is an electrical connecter that disconnects and the ground wire which I do not believe it connected on the boat side. You have to cut then splice the ground wire when you reassemble.
