Anyone here with a 2015 243? If so, how did you solve the problem with the door latch on the head compartment popping open with the slightest of bumps? I've looked at the latch and there's not much plastic to catch in the latch. Anyone change it out for a "twist-lock" style, similar to the floor storage compartment?

Do you not have the second rubber coated latch above the handle?

Nope. Just the latch. Was looking again tonight and I maybe able to just shim the catch out some.

You can probably find the latch on the part guide. Just a few small screws.

Mine has the second latch above the handle as well. I have to pretty much use both or else the door is very loose and will open up.

Well, got home and checked the door. There's a lock knob on the inside that indeed locks the door with no popping open. However, it's for privacy, as there's no knob on the outside, just a small socket... which was for the mystery key I have never known what its purpose was! So, need to fab a shorter version and just epoxy in place.

So that is what that little key like thing is for? Thank you. Only a few more loose items that came with the boat to figure out since the dealer is no help.
